I am always told I have an 'Indian' accent to my English, I would do na, I am Indian afterall. Italians can speak funny english and thats ok..so why not me? And then I caught onto insulting the brits, 'I speak perfectly good English. this is the way it is supposed to sound if you speak the right way'. Keep getting the !!!mark conversation about accents, 'how come you dont have a british accent yet?!!!!!!' You have yet to hear a Kashmiri speak Hindi...simple word like 'beta' become 'bye-ta', 'cream' becomes 'crame' and the list goes on!!
